In this short article, we would like to introduce our two new young talents: Koen Van Edom and Manon Lambert. Koen started at Mbrella on August 22 as a Business Development Manager and Manon started on September 1 as a Business Development Representative.
Who is Manon?
Hi, my name is Manon Lambert, I am 23 years old and I live in Brussels. On the first of September I started my first job as a Business Development Representative at Mbrella. Before that I studied Communication Sciences at the University of Ghent and I also completed the master in General Management at Vlerick Business School.
What does your job entail?
As a Business Development Representative I will carry responsibilities across the whole sales process. Examples are introducing new leads, up- and crossselling of activities and building a valuable network.
Why did you choose Mbrella?
The first time I came into contact with Mbrella was at a start- and scale-up job fair. There I was immediately introduced to the employees’ enthusiasm regarding their product. After researching the company and the concept of the mobility budget, I also became very enthusiastic about their product and its future. Eventually, it became clear that an enthusiastic team with a future-proof product was the perfect fit for me.
What do you think is the biggest advantage of the mobility budget?
For me, the mobility budget is synonymous with freedom. Different employees have different preferences and different lifestyles that can be better catered for with the different options the mobility budget offers.
What are your ambitions and dreams?
Personally, my greatest ambition at the moment is to learn a great deal in order to continue to grow in my role and to make Mbrella a household name in the world of flexible mobility.
What do you enjoy in your free time?
In my free time I love spending time with my friends and family, for example by going on a trip together, having a drink or going shopping.

Who is Koen?
Hi, my name is Koen and I work at Mbrella as a Business Development Manager since the 22nd of August.
What does your job entail?
I also started working as a Business Development Representative a fortnight ago. I discuss with the HR team of companies how they can ensure that they can implement flexible mobility in their company very easily.
Why did you choose Mbrella?
I needed a new challenge and was looking for a job with meaning. The fact that Mbrella is good for the employee, the employer and for nature won me over.
What do you think is the biggest advantage of the mobility budget?
The biggest advantage according to me is the flexibility that comes with it, everyone can decide for themselves what they want to do with the budget. For me personally, it is ideal that I can pay my rent with my mobility budget as well as rent a shared car when I need it. I live in the centre of Brussels so I don't need to have my own car.
What are your ambitions and dreams?
To inspire as many companies as possible to look into the various possibilities that exist to make the lives of employees more pleasant and do good for our planet in the process.
What do you enjoy in your free time?
In my free time, you can find me in one of Brussels' climbing gyms or restaurants.
